Key features – RC40 Series
With the RC40 series Rotary Cutters, high take-rate options are now included in base equipment. This will reduce ordering complexity and still including highly ordered features, such as the Front and Rear Chain Shields and PTO Slip Clutch without the ordering complexity.

 Easy-to-maneuver deck
The round-back deck design on the RC40 Series Rotary Cutter enables easy maneuvering into tight corners and around trees, fences, and other hard-to-reach areas.
|
|
  Front and rear chain shields in base
The front and rear deck deflector are made of chain for longer life.
|
|
 Power take-off (PTO) slip clutch and drive shaft storage in base
The drive holder that is incorporated into the frame, allows the PTO drive shaft to rest on the frame and not on the shop floor or ground. Providing more comfort and avoiding contamination from dirty floor and ground surfaces.
|
|
  Durability and reliability
The RC40 Series cutters also comes with a three year limited gear box warranty, giving customers peace of mind regarding the heart of their rotary cutter.
It also offers optional replaceable skid shoes for longer wear life of the cutter side skirts.
|
|
 Adjustable cutting height
Adjusting the cutting height is easy, simply adjust a tractor's three-point linkage and move the support bar to the desired cutting height.
|
|
 Floating hitch design for better cut quality
The Mast brackets are connected to a free break link allowing the rotary cutter to follow the ground with the rear wheel, resulting in improved cut quality.
|
|
 Puncture-resistant rear tires
The RC40 Series Rotary Cutter has laminated rear tire, that is puncture resistant.
The laminated tire is longer lasting and provides more support when working in sandy or lighter soil conditions.

  Compatible with iMatch™ hitch system and Quik-Knect™ for quick and easy connections
The RC40 Series Frontier™ Rotary Cutters are iMatch ready and compatible with the John Deere Quik-Knect power take-off (PTO) connection system. This makes hooking up the RC40 Series Cutters easy and quick, so you can get working on the job at hand, faster.
